Mario Kart Double Dash

Nintendo brought out the Mario Kart Version for the Game Cube system in 2003. Who would thought a great game would come off such a small CD. The seventh most sold Game Cube game with over 4 million copies sold.

Let's face it this game is just plain fun. I suggest this title to could bought for the younger generation. I loved watching my kids grow up playing this game. Until they became adapt to the controller they would "steer" around the corners while pushing around the corner.

The neatest step that was different is that you could play 4 players at the time. If you really wanted to get hardcore with Mario Kart Double Dash you could play two players on one vehicle. Instead of the previous Mario Karts. Each cart had two characters. One would be the driver and the other would be the menacing "evil doer" and would red shell you or banana peel you so your cart would spin out.

The tracks are very superb. Lots of great colors kind of like a disco at times. There is a ship level that I enjoyed playing with my kids. The embankments are huge and give in to long turns. Mario Kart Double Dash is a must have in the Mario Kart Collection.
